Based on requirements to meet the challenges of traditional energy shortage, environmental protection, energy conservation and emissions reduction as well as sustainable development, renewable energy has become a new trend of energy development in our country. Photovoltaic(PV) power generation has developed rapidly and is widely used all over the world because of its advantages of cleaness and noiseless. A series of policies concerining the goal, planning, interconnection to grid, feed-in tariff and subsidies of solar power generation have been issued by Chinese government in recent years. And many policies related to distributed PV generation have been issued since 2013. However, the high cost of PV generation systems is one of important factors that hindered the development of distributed PV, which causes the weak driving forces of residents to invest in the construction of PV system.Based on classification of users of different load curves, economy of PV generation combined with energy storage system for different kinds of users is evaluated. And the policy suggstion is proposed for the development of distributed PV in China based on economic analysis. The contribution of this thesis is as follows.1) Different load curves of residents are proposed via cluster analysis of different residential load curves. The cost model and economic evaluation indexes including net present value(NPV) and dynamic investment pay-back period based on full life cycle theory of non-scheduling distributed PV grid power generation system and scheduling distributed PV grid power generation system are proposed. Economic evaluation processes of the two systems are given.2) Annual power output of PV system is calculated using the radiation data in Tianjin. The system economic indexes, NPV and dynamic investment pay-back period, are calculated. Then, factors affecting the economics have been analyzed and sensitivity analysis is also performed.3) After the review of policies of distributed PV in some major countries and economic analysis considering the future market of PV cost reduces and the subsidy price reduction, the policy suggstion is proposed for the development of distributed PV in China.
