The Comprehensive Evaluation Of Sustainable Land Use In Region

Based on a systemic analysis of the land use, the article argued that five pillars should be considered according to FESLM, they are productivity, security, protection, viability and acceptability. By related researches' results, evaluation indicators and standard were set up. Then, the weight of pillars and indicators were fixed through AHP and related study results. Finally, a set of method about Comprehensive Land Sustainable Use Evaluation in Region (CLSUER) was constructed.Then, applying the CLSUER appraisal method was to Zhejiang Province's land use, comparing to the average land using level in China, we find that aspects of Zhejiang Province's land sustainable using from 2001 to 2005 are as follows: The Productivity was less sustainable whose tendency be weaken; The security was even more unsustainable and it's fluctuation is quite strong; The protection has a strong sustainability though it had been somehow waved; viability sustainability is very strong and had been increasing; The acceptability was sustainable and kept in a relatively stable situation; In the overall, Zhejiang Province's land use is quite sustainable, moreover, it's sustainability has been strengthened. Finally, According to the findings, some proposes about land sustainable use for Zhejiang Province government was brought forward.
