| With the speedy development of economy, modern logistics as "the third source of profit" has widely developed in world scale. Nowadays it has become a hot economic point and a new profit source during the process of development of economies. With the complication of supply chain management and the development of business out-sourcing trend, the third party logistics (TPL) has become an important business model in logistics development. In China, TPL has just developed recently and it is still at its starting phase.Facing the increasing demand of customs and the changing kinds of services, logistics concerns a wider scope of service. Many enterprises even can't be able to make a objective evaluation of their own operation level in a whole. Under this circumstance, it is necessary to establish an effective and applicable performance evaluation index system and analysis system, which will help the TPL enterprise to advance its management levels and capacities, and to increase the enterprises' profit wholly.At first, this paper analyzes the current conditions and the significance of enterprise performance evaluation, which works as a theory foundation for the study of this paper. It points out the development trend and concerning problems of enterprise performance evaluation index system; formulates the concept of performance evaluation and management, introduces many methods and specific ways of performance evaluation; analyses its characteristics and trend; and introduces AHP, BSC, Fuzzy comprehensive assessment and so on. On the basis of analysis of the characteristics of TPL enterprise performance evaluation index system, it discusses the following contents in details: how to construct TPL enterprise performance evaluation index system, how to choose and weigh the evaluation index, and how to make a direct estimation of index system. At last, this paper puts forewords the prospect of application of performance evaluation index system. |
