Study On The Operations Management Optimization Of Changchun FAW-VW Logistics Co.,Ltd.

Based on the theories and methodology of modern logistics management and the combination of both quantitative and qualitative analysis, this dissertation studies the current operations status of Changchun Dazhong Logistics Co.,Ltd. and makes researches on the operations management of Third Party Logistics. The restrictions of the influential factors on the enterprise are extensively identified and the optimization measurements discussed in surviving the enterprise and improving its core competence out of the fierce competition of home and abroad, especially after the entry of WTO.After conceptually introduces relevant theories in logistics, supply chain and third party logistics, this dissertation makes a thorough literature review and identifies the necessity of the research. The current external influential factors causing some management delay within the main engine plant and its suppliers are identified and discussed according to the following aspects: enterprise structure, business processes, management processes, functions division and improper functional factors etc. The many factors are generalized and further analyzed from the point of views of planning and coordination management, materials and warehouse management and physical distribution management. Optimization solutions are accordingly proposed to optimize the enterprise management level and improve the service quality as well as efficiency in better adjusting itself to market challenge and fulfilling the enterprise vision.The operational optimization solutions proposed in this dissertation has been partially adopted and tried by the enterprise. Satisfactory economic returns have been achieved and the management level improved when implemented in enterprise operations control activities, which proves the research to be practically feasible.
