Research And Application On Project Management Of Survey Design Corporations

Although Survey Design Industries have been operated based on the projects for many years, they have never applied the project management really into practice. After entering into WTO, Survey Design Corporations will be faced the market and equally competed with international corporations. Therefore, Survey Design Industries have to adjust and improve the function and organization systems that can be adapt to those of international engineering companies, establish the modern project management rules, promote the project management completely, and strengthen the competition ability.Based on the theory of modern project management, the project management applied to the Survey Design Industries has been studied and analyzed in this thesis. Firstly, the basic theory of the project management has been described and the relative methods have been introduced and with this help, the thought of modern project management has been discussed in detail. Because of the deep understanding about the project management and modern project management, the foundation has been established for the real application. Secondly, according to the characteristics of the Survey Design Projects, the necessity to execute the modern project management has been analyzed in Survey Design Corporations, and the applicable administrant mechanism and modes of the modern project management have been proposed in this thesis. Thirdly, Compared with the control strategies of the traditional projects, the new control strategies of the modern project management have been brought forward and discussed in Survey Design Corporations. They can generalized the different appraisal contents in each stage of the life cycle of projects, and the performance appraisal system on the project control has been established base on the matrix model. Finally, according to a real case, it has been proved that applying the model project management into Survey Design Corporations can improve the level of management and win the economic effects.
