Study On The Influence Of Investment Environment On Investment Decision In IT Industry

The relationship between investment environment and investment decision has been an important topic in the investment management research. But at present, there is still not any reasonable conclusion on examining what and how they affect. With the fast development of information technology, IT industry becomes the mainstay industry. And the relationship between investment environment and investment decision attracts more attention to people.So the study on the influence of investment environment on investment decision was made.Firstly, prevailing points about the investment environment and investment decision was reviewed. Then based on integrating these points and avoiding the problems such as the obscure object, broadening measurement indicator, etc, the conception of investment environment and investment decision were redefined and a new model concerning the influnce of investment environment satisfaction on investment decision in IT industry was presented. Finally, an empirical research on the conception model and assumption employing methods of SPSS11.5 and LISREL8.54 was made. This research explores several findings. Firstly, the direction of the function between investment environment satisfaction and investment decision is that: soft investment environment satisfaction induces short-term investment decision. Then the soft and hard investment environment satisfaction positively influences long-term investment decision. Secondly, the extent of the function between investment environment satisfaction and investment decision is that: hard investment environment satisfaction slightly and positively influences short-term investment decision. And soft investment environment satisfaction very strongly influences short-term investment decision. Hard and soft investment environment satisfaction strongly influences long-term investment decision. Thirdly, the correlation between overall investment environment satisfaction and overall investment decision is relatively to organization characters. The degree of this correlation is medium normally.While it characters high correlation if the enterprise is a foreign enterprise. And the very high correlation emerged adding the manufacture enterprises. At the same time, based on the research conclusion, some useful advices for the government to improve the investment environment were provided.
