Study On The Urbanization Dominated By Foreign Investments In Pearl River Delta

Through the analysis on the urbanization in Pearl River Delta this article puts forward the writer's opinions about the urbanization level and the relationship between urbanization and industrialization in Pearl River Delta. Based on these opinions the paper analyses the characteristics, for example, the background, speed and space structure of urbanization in Pearl River Delta which is different from other regions.After summarizing the model of the urbanization in Pearl River Delta, we get the result, that is, the industrialization dominated by foreign investments is the base of the urbanization in Pearl River Delta. The model tells us that the urbanization in Pearl River Delta is good for the region with serious problems.The urbanizing cannot go on with a rapid speed, cannot expand to other regions, cannot give people a city suitable to live in and so on. All the problems are related with the model of the urbanization in Pearl River Delta.To solve these problems the paper offers suggestions both in a short time and in a long time.
