Research On Outage Management Model For Nuclear Power Station

Our national policy of speeding up nuclear power development brings a precious opportunity for fast expanding of nuclear power plant (NPP) market, and plays enormous driving role in full self-reliance of NPP design, manufacturing, installation and maintenance. How to manage and organize the maintenance activities effectively, to protect the production system and equipment to operate efficiently, achieve best value, in accordance with the goal of utility production, is increasingly becoming the most important issues.of the maintenance.This paper, based on my practice of NPP outage management for many years, describes NPP outage modes and process management; from the perspective of technical management, shows the importance of maintenance and outage in NPP production and operation and argues the advantage of the maintenance system centered on reliability and the integrated maintenance management mode by means of comparative and analytic method, as well as the feasibility of integrated maintenance management mode; from the perspective of project management, discusses and argues the process of outage management and the practical and guiding role of project management theory for outages.The theoretic research of this paper is to conclude NPP outage project management in a systematic and rational manner and bring an organic combination of technical management and project management for outages so as to provide a correct and effective theoretic guidance to a sustainable development of outage project management system, further improve the competitiveness of the Company in future NPP market and play an active role in driving the development of maintenance and outage self-reliance campaign in China.
