According to the strategic requirement of developing by leaps and bounds in railway, and the ideas of promoting and advancing modernization by information technology, railway logistics industry information has been referred to the construction schedule.Railway Logistics Information is that in the railway system , widely using advanced information technology to upgrade the overall railway logistics industry, mainly applying advanced computer network technology, optimizing the railway transportation, logistics management, logistics decision-making process, recording accurate and timely all aspects of the data, processes, objectives, results of production and management, in order to fully utilize the resource of transport and information and constantly improve their competitiveness on the market, raise economic efficiency of logistics.Based on the studies of the public platform for logistics information theory and freight rail engineering, Analysis of the public rail logistics information platform construction of the necessity and feasibility, proceeding to discuses the public rail logistics information platform of principles, functions, hierarchical structure, key technology, cost efficiency, implementation of strategies.Finally, this paper takes the Guangzhou - Shenzhen Railway as case study.
