Study On Dynamic Benefits And External Economy Of Pumped-storage Plant

Pumped-storage plant is of great importance for increasing the stability and flexibility of power system, improving the power supply quality and advancing the network's safety and economy. It is an economic and effective regulating method for the power system. For Pumped-storage plant, its external economy can not convert into internality easily. The dynamic benefit calculation for pumped-storage is a hard work, and thus severely affects the financial viability of pumped-storage plant. After the separation of grid and generation, it is the very time to analyzing the external economy for the plant.This thesis Combineing the developing experience of abroad plant researches the external economy and external countermeasure using dynamic benefit evaluation method. At the same time, this paper analyses the compensation issue from the following two aspects: environment cost and electricity fee policy. After that, a method of sharing benefits and relevant industrial policy of pumped-storage power station is put forward. The writer hopes that its external economy can be internalized reasonably and the functions and benefits of pumped-storage plant can be afforded adequately through study of this paper.
