In recent years, Shopping mall with an unprecedented speed in China's vigorous development in the large and medium-sized cities. It brought to a new pattern of China's commercial and opportunities, it also brings new challenges. It is a major issue how to enhance their ability to resist risks and promote their sustainable development. That is a major issue must be studied and resolved.In this paper, I first talk about the concept and features of shopping mall, research the history and development of the domestic situation of the development of shopping mall. In light of theoretical results about of outstanding scholars at home and abroad, we will analyst the theoretical and development based of shopping mall.Then the authors focus on investigations and studies the United States, Britain, Hong Kong and Japan shopping mall development and the reasons for the rise, sum up its strengths and build a core competitiveness to guide the direction of our shopping centers.Through previous expositions, I believe our shopping mall should learn from the experience of developed countries and regions mature, conditions combined with local conditions, to explore and build our shopping center development pattern. Discussion on building a shopping mall from the core of highly competitive sense, analyze and shopping centers in the world and its rise and development of the internal mechanism of the development situation help the domestic industry to more thoroughly understand the situation of the development of our shopping centers. Shopping mall should seize the opportunity to study the specific strategies and steps to promote the industry in China to grow and develop healthily.Finally, in the course of developing, it is necessary for shopping mall to fully understand the difference between the domestic business environments. Constantly sum up the experience and lessons of developed countries and regions, and grasp the opportunity to explore its own laws in practice. Build their characteristics in the core competitiveness, in strategic thinking and practice in advance step invincible in future competition.
