The Design And Development Of ZTE Project Pre-Sale Information System

As the IT technology develops fast and popular use in enterprises, it brings us more than technical aspect. It also means the reform of organization and working process. If we don't handle such problems in time, we will be blocked by the backward working ways.Now, one of the representative enterprises in telecommunication field---ZTE Corporation is facing such kind of problems. The company develops fast, but the management ways still stay on the past level. Many documents can't be processed on time; in addition, most of them are processed by handwork. Every stuff is busy doing their task and has no free time to improve theirs working skill. The low efficiency working process and the shortcoming of working flow become more and more obvious. In the department, there are too many stuffs but the work seems endless. All these problems need not only IT technology, but also reform of operation process to solve them.This paper is based on the research in ZTE CDMA international market planning department last for half year. It uses the PLM concept, and brings out the model of multi-project management which is directed by the enterprise strategy and the concept---"all project control". Based on these result, this paper design the operation process of the department. By design an information system to realize the operation flow, the system provides a platform to let all the stuff work together and share the database. The system can help speed up the project schedule, reduce the cost, improve the project quality and work efficiency.The model of multi-project management, the concept---"all project control", and the way of handling the information, will provide the enterprises in telecommunication field more practical meaning and guide.
