| Free Trade Zone is a special economic area which is separated from the other economic areas. In order to obtain some definite economic objectives some nations established Free Trade Zones by some special economic policies and instruments. Free Trade Zone has a history of more than 450 years. The Free Trade Zone of China is just the first step of Free Trade Zone and it is different from those of the other countries. The Chinese Free Trade Zone is established under the circumstance of Chinese Opening door and Reformation. China has established Free Trade Zone for more 10 years and we gained much experience and lesson in this period of moving ahead. But now the Free Trade Zones of China are facing rigorous challenges for the economic globalization and China's joining the WTO. Now the government should consider some serious problems such as how to uniform with the other nations'Free Trade Zone of the world, how to identify the functions of the Free Trade Zone of China and whether should we absorb the foreign administrate system entirely etc.. In this paper, theoretical and experimental methods are used. Supported by survey and case studies, we introduced the progress of Free Trade Zone. Based on the existing administrate system and prior policies of Chinese Free Trade Zone and the successful experiences of the other Asia nations, we explained the international circumstance of the birth of Chinese Free Trade Zone and analyzed its administrative system and the reasons of its gap with other nations'Free Trade Zone. At last we advised that Chinese Free Trade Zone should uniform with those of the world, and it should start from legislation, boosting the development of modern logistics industry, the integration of port and Free Trade Zone and making experiments etc. to accelerate its changing into really Free Trade Zone. At the same time we analyzed the future of Chinese Free Trade Zone and proposed some problems that should be solved in the changing period. |
