The Study On The Current Policy Of Affordable Housing In China

As part and parcel of our country's housing policy , affordable housing policy is a significant measure through which the government links resolving housing problem of mid-low-income families, pushing forward urban housing system reform, implementing strategy of developing housing industry and national economy together. After the implement of the policy, we achieve great success. But we still meet some problems.This thesis focuses on the affordable policy of my country. This thesis systematically studies on the background and the progress of affordable housing policy, the problem in the course of executing the police and the reason of the problem. The thesis analyses the limited profitability of developers using externality theory and the difference of "indirect subsidies" and "direct subsidies" using the efficiency theory form the perspective of economics. Then the thesis introduces the public housing policy of Singapore, America and Hongkong of China. At the same time, this part summarizes the experiences that our country can use for reference in constituting affordable housing policy. Finally, on the base of foregoing studies, the thesis forward the countermeasures to improve present affordable housing policy integrated with the situation of our country.
