The manufacturing industry is a pillar of the national economy, it offers the whole society with the material products. Its development level is an important standard to measure a national power. Although BPR is an advanced management theory, it has poor performance in the implementation for the lack of a reasonable and quantitative evaluation index system. Owing to the complexity of manufacturing business processes and excessive related factors, many problems remain unsolved and there is few achievements published.This thesis describes the activities of manufacturing enterprises and defines the core business processes of manufacturing enterprises. By analyzing the core business processes and evaluation standard, it establishes five evaluation indexes which are: cost, efficiency, quanlity, the informatization degree and customer satisfaction. This dissertation proposes that it is effective way to set up a sort of perfect business processes evaluation index system and find a feasible way to evaluate manufacturing business processes.While evaluating cost , Activity-based Costing analysis method is employed and Queing Theory is applied to form models to appraise the efficiency . The operation way can be widely applied. While evaluating quanlity, the informatization degree and customer satisfaction, it makes use of the qualitative and the quantitative analysis methods to measure the different standards. The purpose is to improve the processes function, find out the dissatisfied place of the processes and optimize the processes essentially. Finally, it points out the limitation of this research and the prospect of the future study on manufacturing business processes evaluation.
