The premium rate always has been the insurance industry hot topic of discussion .This article focuses on the studying of how to make the premium rate of motor vehicle insurance and studies theory principle, general method based on the law of large numbers, analyses the system of insurance market and pricing strategy of product in the environment of market economy, and apply it to the insurance company to pricing the rate of motor vehicle insurance.This article collects and analyses the basic features of civil and foreign motor vehicle insurance rate. It analyses the present features of premium rate system of Chinese motor vehicle insurance and existing problems. All market bodies take the premium rate as an important tool of market competition according to the needs of market competition. So insurance company should make their special premium rate list of motor vehicle insurance according to the market competition and the operative cost factors. The human factors should be considered the base of premium rate, which make the premium rate level gradually reasonable. In the reform of the premium rate of motor vehicle insurance, insurance company should increase the operative and managing level, and competence. So strengthening the basic work in actuarial science is more important than before.Facing our country insurance industry with the new situation which international will connect rails, the premium rate marketability of motor vehicle insurance is inevitable. Comparing with our country motor vehicle overseas premium rate,the supervising and managing pattern, has carried on the analysis to our country present motor vehicle insurance premium rate pattern malpractice, proposed should carry on the premium rate marketability, and has produced our country motor vehicle insurance premium rate market reform suggestion.This article takes the way of analyzing both theory and practical to introduce and study the present situation of Chinese motor vehicle premium rate and the pricing strategy of insurance company, and it is operative .
