Research On Industrial Introduction For Late-developing Regions

With the development of regional economics, trade and investment guided by governments at all levels is a competitive process of industrial introduction, in which late-developing regions are in disadvantage status, and introduced industries and strategies are homogeneous. It is very important for late-developing regions to take effective measures to introduce appropriate industries into.This dissertation systematically studies industrial introduction for late-developing regions. Firstly, we theoretically analyze developing paths and feasibility of industrial introduction according to the theory of advantage of backwardness, and draw a conclusion that late-developing regions can keep up with first-developing regions by technology introduction and innovation.Secondly, we produce results that late-developing regions should introduce industries that are consistent with factor endowment and at the stage of the growing or mature phrases. Thirdly, we construct a regional competitiveness model based on industrial introduction according to location choice of FDI and Porter's diamond model,and analyze general endowment. In the process of industrial introduction strategy decomposition, we analyze three competitive strategies which are overall cost leadership strategy, differentiation strategy and focus strategy on basis of industry characteristic and regional competitiveness model.Eventually, we analyze industrial introduction of Yixing city with the analysis framework above, point out appropriate industries to be introduced and put forward some feasible strategies for Yixing city to do so.
