Research On Informatization Planning And Implementing Of China Merchants Logistics Group Ltd.

This paper aims to analyze the problems that occurred in the course of informatization of China Merchants Logistics Group Limited Company (shorter form: CML Ltd.) and provide the answers in the author's opinion, according to the research on the informatization planning and implementing of CML Ltd. .Firstly, this paper introduces the concept of informatization, the theory of enterprise informization planning, the definition and implementing methodology of ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning), as well as the meaning and necessity of BPR(Business Process Reengineering). Secondly, this article describes the informization planning, the informization implementing strategy, the BPR and the implementation of ERP that took place in CML Ltd. . Thirdly, it is pointed out that there are some problems in the course of informization planning and implementing though CML Ltd. benefits from informization. In the end, some advices are given to better the effect of informization.Not only can this paper instruct these companies that provide third party logistics services to do well in their informization planning and implementing, but also provide reference to those companies that do not.
