In recent years, the contradictions of population, resources and environment have become more and more prominent with the increasing of population, which caused shortage of resources and change of environment , the issues were increasingly concerned. Land resources is the material basis of survival and development for humans , is the source to create other wealth and is important foundation of the society and economy development. Therefore, sustainable use of land resources is basis and important part of sustainable development. As the essence of land resources , cultivated land is basic resources for and agricultural production and sustainable development of national economy, at the same time , cultivated land plays a vital role in the socio-economic development. The dynamics of cultivated land and sustainable use is the key to affect the region and even the whole country. During the our country implementation of sustainable development strategies, in the considerable period of time ,we will face a series of issues: the reduction of cultivated area per capita , the increase of cultivated production per area and increasing pollution of agricultural land , which seriously threat to the sustainable development of our country. Therefore , the core of protect cultivated land is the protection of the sustainable use of cultivated land.The protection of the sustainable use of cultivated resources is the basic demand of human society and economy development, to evaluate the of degree sustainable use of cultivated resources is to be advantageous to the protection the cultivated, which is of great significance to ensure our country's food security. Evaluation results can guide changes of land use patters and provide a basis for production patters and macro-policy control, we formulate the policies of sustainable use of cultivated resources according to this and avoid the blind and disorder of exploitation of cultivated resources.
