A Study On Constructing Harmonious Socialistic Society In The Construction Of West-bank Economic Zone Across Taiwan Strait

Since China's reform and opening in the 1980s, Fujian Province has obtained huge development in terms of economy and society. Currently, in the new situation of intensive competition, integration with the global economy and acceleration of regional economy integration process, the Fujian provincial party committee and the provincial government proposed the strategic conception of constructing West-bank economic zone across strait based on Fujian's actual situation under the guidance of 16th national congress of communist party of China (16th nccpc), This conception is taken for the Fujian people's basic interest, and is part of the grand blueprint of constructing a comprehensive well-off society. Looking back to Fujian's development in recent years, some social problems such as social contradiction and conflict in terms of income disparity, employment and social security exposed internally along with the economy growth. Externally, Fujian is located at the Yangtze River delta economic zone and the Zhujiang Delta economic zone. Speaking of development, there is still a big disparity between Fujian and these two economic zones. Therefore, to solve these problems require us to introduce the harmonious thought and integrate together the construction of harmonious socialistic society and that of West bank economic zone across strait. Besides, through constructing the harmonious socialistic society, the regional resources need to be optimized, interests of various social groups need to be coordinated so as to promote a comprehensive development in Fujian's economy and society, strengthen Fujian's whole competitive ability and construct the harmonious West bank economic zone across strait, and finally, to solve the problems that appear in the development. This is also one of the goals of developing the West bank economic zone across strait.
