The Research On The Coordinated Development Of Historical Districts And Modern Tourism

Most of the historical districts, retain the city's historical style and the traditional culture in a certain times, refract many unique aspects of the deep social structures, such as politics, culture, economy, military and so on, display the profound cultural characteristics, historical inheritance and the humanities ideas, and bear huge social instructive functions. Historical districts record information of the cities' historical development and contain the profound cultural heritages, which is the advantageous resources for modern tourism.With the rapid development of social economy and modern tourism, owing to the short-term benefit actuation and the need of economic development, some historical districts have been over-exploited in large-scale and various means, disregarding the dignity of their history and culture. Therefore, the historical cultural value and living functions of historical districts have been gradually degenerating, even some precious historical heritages have been facing the fatal destruction. Moreover, because of some problems rising from the process of historical districts' tourism developing, such as the unreasonable relationship between protection and the exploitation, the tourist products simplification, the unsuitable management as well as benefit conflict, the appeal of historical districts drops sharply and tourism development in historical districts bogs down.Based on the related domestic and foreign researches, this paper deals with the coordinated development between historical districts and modern tourism. From the perspectives of recognizing the characteristics of historical districts and modern tourism, and introducing the synergetic theory, system theory and stakeholder theory to construct the historical districts-tourism multiplexed system, clarify the explicated integrant parts of the multiplexed system and study the internal coordination of various subsystems and mutual coordination between subsystems specifically.
