In the process of modernization and marketization, Ethnic Village Tourism has become an important way of social transformation in minority areas. Because of its mystery and reminiscence, the Ethnic Village Tourism of history has got great popularity in the modern society. The way of tourism has become a common practice in many ethnic villages to restore their traditions. The phenomenon called "revival of traditions", "reconstruction of traditions" and "inventions of traditions" are becoming growing emphasis in the academia. The construction of "Tea Horse Inn" in Nakeli is carried out in such a practical background.Based on the tourism development in Nakeli, The author attempts to explore how the historical memory about MaBang in Nakeli becomes the cultural capital and convert into economic capital by means of conceptualization and symbolic meaning construction and practice. The study includes:the real opportunity and cultural resource of the "Tea Horse Inn" historical tourism; analyze the reorganization of Nakeli’s historical resource in the process of construction and summarize its forms and characters; the change of the village and villagers in the process of tourism development. These three parts support each other and jointly present the reconstruction of village’s landscape and culture In the development of tourism.Personally I think, the "Tea-Horse Inn" as a new cultural symbol in Nakeli, its construction is in fact a reproduction process based on the historical memory in the cultural tourism. Through the integration of historical and cultural resources of the village, the modern construction of historical memory realize its value construction. The tourism practice in Nakeli has proved that the modern construction of its historical memory not only means the village’s historical memory can continue and pass on, but also means the traditional culture of the village has found a more extensive living space in the new context of the society.
