Nature condition and tobacco production in Guangxi were investigated comprehensively, then favorable and unfavorable factors of tobacco production in Guangxi were analyzed. At last several suggestions on tobacco production in Guangxi were proposed. The detail results are as follows:1. Nature condition at most zones in Guangxi is suit for tobacco planting and producehigh quality tobacco leaf.2. The policy of tobacco production moveing from north to south is going on in China. This policy impelled tobacco production in China transfering to the poor zone. Guangxi, with abundant labor force and low income is a poor agricultural province in China and suited for tobacco production.3. Tobacco leaf production in Guangxi was revealed a flourishing future, provided materials not only for Tobacco Corporation in Guangxi,but also for famous Tobacco Corporation in internal and overseas.4. Tobacco production increased income of the government and farmer in Guangxi, impelled the development of other agriculture production, improved agriculture basic establishment.5. There are some unfavorable factors for tobacco production in Guangxi, such as lack of enthusiasm for farmer, little production scale, and tobacco planting is too sporadic, level of planting technique is low, et al.6.
