Perfecting, Enriching And Promoting The Freedom Of Life

The article has carried on the deep exploration into the essence of the aesthetic activity of tourism in terms of the vision of life and concluded that it is the perfecting and sublimating human's freedom of life. The article illustrates the topic in five aspect:Part one; Human's want of freedom of life can not be satisfied in such field as traditional philosophy , religion, commercialized literary art and true life. Moreover, it even encounters constrain and destruction to a certain extent . Therefore, life is seeking one kind of activity that combines materiality and spirit, ideal and reality, popularity and nobleness. Tourism is the activity which can meet all these needs and satisfy the want of life, even expand the compass of personal experience.Then, analyzing some existing theories about the essence of tourism, the author concludes their advantages and disadvantages, and favors the idea to define the essence of tourism as an aesthetic activity.The disadvantages are mainly analyzed in part three, which compose the main part of the thesis, and mainly illustrate the topic of the thesis; penetrating into the essence of the aesthetic activity of tourism; perfecting and sublimating human's free life.Part three consists of three parts; Firstly, the following characteristics of the aesthetic activity of tourism :comprehensive nature, direct experiences and experiences in other lands, distinguished it from other aesthetic activities. Secondly, the aesthetic activity of tourism perfects and sublimates human life by satisfying, developing and exalting freedom of life from such levels as biological life,, spiritual life and social life. Thirdly, the aesthetic activity of tourism bears great significance for real free life due to the following benefit: to improve and sublimate human's freedom of life, to cultivate human aesthetic taste and wake up human aesthetic consciousness. In short, the aesthetic activity of tourism realizes human's aesthetic existence, perfect and sublimates human's free life by "stepping out" and "stepping into" human daily life.Part four: the aesthetic activity of tourism perfects, enriches and develops free life. This essence and human's need to realize the freedom of life in aesthetic activity enlightens the developing direction of tourism :to provide, construct a stage and environment for realizing and enriching human's free life.Finally, the thesis probes into the development of the aesthetic activity of tourism under the background of industrialization. The author offers advice to introspect the issue about the bi-disciplinary nature of the aesthetic activity of tourism to prevent it from being baseless.
