In the long evolution, the complex relations among the life forms, and between the life form and the environment, have formed a very exact and perfect system. This natural ecosystem has the uncommon capability to adapt the change of the environment.Along with the development of network technological and demand of customer diversification, the communications industry is having the deep transformation. It becomes more and more complicated because of the separation of network and the service, the rapid development of data service. The business model of the telecoms operator has no longer suited the new environment In this kind of situation. Therefore the main telecoms operators all over the world are now carrying on the transformation.This article wants to provide the theoretical basis for the transformation of the telecoms operator by doing some research on the ecosystem of communications industry.
