With the influence of COVID-19,the disadvantages of traditional business models are becoming more and more obvious.China’s "14th five year plan" is a clear requirement to strengthen the in-depth integration of enterprises and achieve mutually beneficial and win-win development.In this environment,the traditional business model of "fighting alone" is no longer applicable.If enterprises want to maintain competitiveness in the complex and changeable external environment,they must change the original business model.The business ecosystem,which combines internal and external stakeholders,can create great value for the whole enterprises,so it has become the focus of attention.From the existing literature,the academic circles mostly focus on the macro level research of business ecosystem and business model,and the research on the business model of micro enterprises is relatively lacking,and a scientific and effective business model effect evaluation system has not been formed.As a rising star in the contemporary Internet industry,Xiaomi group has a certain representativeness.Its rapid development benefits from the establishment of business ecosystem and business model.Its successful experience is also worthy of reference in the same industry.Therefore,by combing the literature related to the business ecosystem and business model,this paper mainly adopts the case study method,takes the "six elements of Wei and Zhu" as the starting point of theoretical analysis,analyzes the Xiaomi business model,and obtains the framework of Xiaomi business ecosystem and the composition of the core elements of the business model.By selecting the evaluation indicators of the business model of the business ecosystem,this paper constructs the effect evaluation system of the Xiaomi business model.Combined with the entropy weight mutation progression method,the effect of the business model of the Xiaomi business ecosystem is evaluated according to the comprehensive score of each index,and analyzed in combination with the specific financial indicators as an auxiliary evaluation method.Finally,the business model of Xiaomi is summarized according to the evaluation results.The results of the case study show that the business model of Xiaomi business ecosystem has a positive impact on the development of enterprises.The establishment of business ecosystem not only creates value for the members of organizations in the system and realizes mutual benefit,but also enhances the stability of enterprises in dealing with changes in the external environment and reduces potential business risks.However,Xiaomi business ecosystem still has a series of problems such as low resource utilization efficiency,which is the part that Xiaomi needs to focus on and optimize in the future development period.The success of Xiaomi’s business model is worth learning.Through the evaluation of its business model,we hope to provide some help for more enterprises to build business models that fit their own characteristics. |
