There is a new area on reverse supply chain. In 1980s, the word of reverse supply chain appeared in an overseas journal. In the early of 1990s, reverse supply chain is beginning to be widely concerned by some developed countries as the governments and consumers are more concerned about environment. China has paid much attention to forward supply chain, but there is little concern on reverse supply chain. As China entered WTO, Chinese companies will be confronted with fierce competition. It is necessary for Chinese companies to set up reverse supply chain system. Under these backgrounds, this paper has introduced and analyzed the related conceptions of reverse supply chain. Besides, the paper emphasizes on the product recycling technologies and network design of the reverse supply chain.Based on the analysis of existence question of the supply chain model, a new model of closed-loop supply chain is proposed that integrated supply chain with reverse supply chain.Product recycling technologies are one of important key technology of reverse supply chain. It is significant to the closed-loop supply chain management. The paper has analyzed the faced problem and the uncertain factors in product recycling system. On the basis of existing researches of recycling technologies, product recycling classified methods, product recycling models and structures have been discussed. In order to achieve product recycling with great efficiency and benefit, the paper has proposed to build the centralized return center.Product recycling network can be understood a form of reverse supply chain, it will affect the effect of the reverse supply chain. A Mixed Integer Planning Model (MIP) has been established from the viewpoint of the combination of the traditional and the reverse supply chain what aims at re-manufactured product, considering recycling cost, transport cost, fixed cost and re-manufactured cost. With the help of Simulate Anneal Arithmetic (SAA), the paper gives the more satisfied results.Finally, the paper has a summarization on the researching work, analyzing the problems and shortcomings, giving a series of vistas to the future direction of research. All the above suggestion and research about reverse supply chain can be referred for the enterprise.
