The rapid development of electronic technology brings us updated and better electrical and electronic products. Along with this, upgrade of products has aggravated threats to survival such as environmental pollution and resource shortages. The reverse recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment (referred to as WEEE) has become a big urgent problem to resolve. Because WEEE reverse supply chain contains couple of highly diversity and complexity elements, and the research of WEEE recycling started late in China, this research is needed to continue to explore expansion. Since2009, China has successively issued regulations of WEEE on recovery processing, the qualification license management and management approach of WEEE fund, which shows government is giving top concern gradually. Government focuses more on promoting the development of the recycling industry, not only constraints management the recycling market. Therefore, further study should be necessary about WEEE reverse supply chain with hybrid recycling channels under government regulation. This paper proposed WEEE reverse supply chain models by considering hybrid recycling channels and the government management policy. Game optimal strategy and the decision of government regulation are discussed under different recovery mode. On the whole thesis, the main work is included as follows:(1) According to relevant laws and regulations, the two basic models of this paper are proposed, by considering characteristics as the competition during hybrid recycling channels and government regulation. Stackelberg game is used to seek the optimal pricing strategy. Characteristics above are analyzed. Besides, government subsidies and economic resiliency are compared under two different hybrid recycling channels. The results address that dual-channel collection by both the retailer and the third party achieves a higher supply chain profits, while the recovery ratio, of three mixed WEEE recycling channels plus the manufacture joining in is higher. For the government and the different supply chain members, the channel selection and decision scheme vary due to different footing. (2) After studying the basic models assuming a linear relationship between the recovery and the recycling price, this paper studies WEEE reverse supply chain models extending to the uncertain recovery with hybrid recycling channels. The gray system theory is introduced in the field of supply chain, this theory is used to simulation analysis the impact of government subsidies and recovery ratio on the two hybrid recycling reverse supply chains, some reference ideas are provided for the government to make regulatory decisions. In this thesis, it is unable to fully proposed WEEE reverse supply chain which describes every circumstance of uncertain recovery during recycling. It is not yet resolve more intuitive expression of government regulation decision through mathematical study, there is the possibility of continued improvement existing in some sections of this paper. At the end, the paper presents several research directions which are worth explored in future, it is expected that this paper could offer some relevant ideas for further research.
