Cultivated land is the most precious and frail resource. Currently, the balance among cultivated land, food and population is one of the most concerned problems. With the increasing of population and the developing of economy, the problem becomes more penetrating. Certainly, cultivated land is focus, for it is the base of foodstuff. "Is there enough land to meet the need for food of the future generation?" How to keep some quantity and quality cultivated land is becoming more and more essential for the sustainable development of region.This text analyzed the dynamic states in Yanshan county in recent 10 years such as the structure characteristics of cultivated land resources,space distribute,utilized degree,utilize benefit etc. and according to the existing data, with 1995-2004 the data of the year segment for foundation, set up a indicator system of the dynamic changing in the core of quantity,quality and utilize benefit.making use of the model arithmetic which regard layer analysis as mostly part to quantitate the indicator system.Calculate the compond indicators of cultivated land in quantity,quality and economic, and enduce the Cultivated land Dynamic Indicator(CDI) on this foundation. Then carry quantitative analysises,include the main composition analysis and the relativity analysis on the integration dynamic indicator, Gross National Product, national income, gross output value of industry and agriculture,etc.of Yangshan county by take qualitative analysis as a premise and make use of the DPS data processing system as analyze tool.Probing the rule of dynamic changing of cultivated land in Yangshan county may provide a reference for reasonable exploit and protect cultivated land and keep sustainable development of the society.
