Finance is usually regarded as the core and artery of modern market economy. The firmness, orderliness, effectiveness and sustainable functioning of the financial system stand vital to guarantee both the national economic security and national security. In the mean time, financial risks pervade everywhere, and the destructiveness of these risks becomes one of the important factors that menace the national or regional financial security. Therefore, finance is a double-edged sword, which is indispensable for the development of economy, and the potential risks rising from which simultaneously bring intense impact upon the economy. Since 1990s, financial crises in various forms have emerged all over the world, such as payment crises about debt in South-America, financial crises in Japan, South-Asia and Korea. Presently, over the open environment in China, an in-depth analysis on the contributing factors and actual situation of the systemic financial risks grows increasingly important to promote the steady, quick and healthy development of economy and finance in our country.This thesis consists mainly of three parts: a theoretical research on the formation of systemic financial risks; a survey and comparison on systemic financial risks and history of financial crisis; analysis and suggestions on China's present systemic financial risks.For the first part, it begins with the concept and classification of financial risks, and goes step further introducing the concept of systemic financial risks by...
