Recently, in the international seminar named "World economy and China: promoting co-prosperity", some experts pointed out two kinds of trend , i.e the outstanding achievement of the world banking was improved and the banking became more open and internationalization, which should bring very important influence to Chinese banking. After joined into WTO, the whole Chinese financial industry, especial banking, must face the competition in deed. The bank guarantee business has many advantages, such as higher rate of increase, lower rate of demand and so on. Nowadays, it is regarded as the one of important middle business in bank .This article analyzes the risk of bank guarantee business through some true cases and provides the corresponding settlement strategies. At the same time, the author of this article gives viewpoints about questions and development trend of bank guarantee.
