On Mortgage-Backed Secuitization Of Commercial Bank In China

Mortgage-backed securitization (MBS for short)originated from America in the early 1970s, is one of the most important financial instrument, which has already become one of the most vitalistic and the developed financial innovation product all over the world. MBS, as an innovation financing tool, has obtained the widespread implementation and the application in the various countries. It processes the functions of consummating financial market, widening financing channel, improving asset and liability management of commercial banks, enhancing the property using efficiency and the capital returns ratio, as well as controlling financial risk. At the same time, Chinese scholar have paid a great earnest attention to this new financing instrument, and hope that some existing contradictions and problems such as liquidity risk of commercial banks can be resoled by the implementation of this new instrument. This article profits from the mature experience of the overseas mortgage-backed securitization, and the synthesis utilization analogy, the comparison, positive and normative analysis, studies the theory pattern and the mortgage-backed securities pricing model, which is providing the theory basis for the mortgage-backed securitization development of Chinese commercial banks.This paper includes seven chapters as follows:The research background,the aim,the method as well as the research progress situation both in domestic and foreign realm have been described in Chapter 1.
