Study Quality Of Industrial Growth Of Gansu From New Type Industrialization View

This thesis mainly does research on Gansu's transformation of industrialization to new industrialization way through the perspective of quality of industrial growth. We describe the degree and trend of this transformation by setting up a relevant indicator system, study the influential factors of the transformation by setting up econometric model and factor analysis and bring out policy suggestion of increasing the quality of industrial growth and enhancing the transformation based on the simulation of the strategy of development.Based on the former research, the thesis builds an indicator system that includes twelve indicators in five aspects, economic benefit, technological level, resource efficiency, environmental benefit and human resource, to measure the quality of industrial growth. We use this indicator system to measure the quality of industrial growth of Gansu from 2000-2004. We find that the quality of industrial growth of Gansu is a process of reform and transform, and although it developments very quickly, there still has a great gap between the developed areas. The quality of industrial growth of Gansu shows an obvious diversity and an unobvious process of divergence, which that of eastern China is much higher than Gansu.Through the analysis of indicators, the thesis thinks that the transformation of quality of industrial growth of Gansu is because the indicator of economic benefit and other indicators become divergent first and convergent later. The main gaps between Gansu and other developed areas are technological level, environmental benefit and human resource. The econometric model of the Gansu shows that quantity, structure have no or negative correlation with the quality of industrial growth, the advantage index, ownership and scale have some correlation with it. These all show the difference between traditional and new industrialization. The factor analysis of Gansu's industries shows that the indicator of resource efficiency and environmental benefit compose the first main factor of quality of industrial growth, economic benefit and human resource compose the second and technological level is the third.The thesis also does quantitative simulation to Gansu's transformation of industrialization and thinks that Gansu's development towards the developed economies, the transform of Gansu towards the eastern China and the structure adjustment of low level industries towards the high level will be the main strain of Gansu's industrialization in the future.The article has 5 chapters. Chapter 1 mainly talks about background of the study, Chapter 2 is the review of former theory and the model build. Chapter 3 analysis the quality of industrial growth of Gansu, and Chapter 4 bring out the result and supply the policy suggestion.
