A Positive Study On The Relation Of Industrial Structure Transformation And Economic Growth Of Gansu Province

Industrial structure transformation is interacted with economic growth by means of mutual dependence and promotion. As we know, under certain circumstances, one nation's industrial structure transformation is the foundation of its economic growth and the cardinal factor that promotes the economic growth. Different speed of the economic growth calls for different demand on the industrial structure. The economic growth will lead to the industrial structure alternation accordingly. The process of modern economic growth is actually the process that the economic growth and the industrial structure transformation influence on each other as well as connect with each other. The thesis studies systematically the relation of industrial structure transformation and economic growth and the industrial structure transformation contribution to economic growth by various methods in Gansu province, in order to look for a development road of industrial structure and push forward economic growth in quality and quantity aspects.The thesis is divided into 4 parts with the exception of the introduction.First, the interactive relation of industrial structures transformation and economic growth, the content and characteristic of industrial structure, the motive mechanism of industrial structures transformation are analyzed qualitatively to display clearly the relation of industrial structures transformation and economic growth.Second, econometric model is used to analyze relation between industrial structure and economic growth in Gansu, which overcome shortage of former studies and make the result convicted.Again, production function developed model and multiple industries model are used to analyze the contribution of industrial structure transformation to economic growth from 1978—2004 of Gansu province, which indicates direction for industrial structure adjustment. On this foundation, the thesis used deviation-quota method to analyze the district difference of the industrial structure transformation contribution to economic growth and gets its distribution characteristic.Finally, based on the conclusions that thesis draw, thesis finds the reason why conclusion produce and gives some advice.
