Based on the competitive operators in chongqing telecommunication Industry, the paper focus on data and fixed network product family operated by chongqing Unicom, It list the total traffic carried by Chongqing telecommunication operators. The change of market share made in 2004. Technology trend will reflect the telecommunication operator's feature, especially the two key technology, NGN (next generation network) and 3G (the third generation mobile communication). In chongqing fixed communication marker, there are six operators. They are chongqing mobile, chongqing telecom, chongqing Unicom, chongqing Netcom, chongqing rail COM and chongqing information harbor. In the second part, the paper redefine the product line in chongqing Unicom., data and voice product line. Data product line include leased line, broadband access, mailbox and IDC. Voice product line include fixed line phone, phone supermarket, 193 long distant service and VOIP service. It discusses the subscribes capacity and revenue on the two product line. It use three analysis method to find out the opportunity. There are technology, market and finance opportunity. It analyses the finance and profit of all kind of telecommunication product ,deals with the product development strategy considerations on chongqing Unicom data and fixed network product , introduce the strategy is conforting reality and fusion.
