Problems And Countermeasures In The Development Of Apple Industrialization Of Qingyang

Apple is one of the world wide cultivated fruits with high yield, and is the main varieties in north of China. Recently, with the further development of productivity and market economy, the scattered operation in family-scale cannot meet the multi-form agricultural globalization, fruits industrialization has already become the inexorable trend. The area of apple cultivated in Qingyang of Gansu Province is second only to apricots. Being as a main industry to promote the economy of Qingyang, apple is paid more attention by different fields. Developing the industry of apple has important meanings to raise peasant's income and to promote the local economy. But up till now, there is a lack of systematic study on the problems existing in apple industry of Qingyang. By combined theory analysis with investigation, the factors effected apple industrialization of Qingyang were analyzed, and the subject matter were found out as follows:1.Variety structure and overall arrangement are unreasonable, the per unit area yield is low, quality is bad, produce is inefficient, products can't meet market demand.2. Management is extensive, apple trees are highly contaminated by virus, treatment of post-harvest can't catch up with market requirement, high-quality ratio of apple is low.3. The brand image is bad, the market competitiveness is not strong.4. The government works with single method and lack of serve consciousness, which dampen peasant's enthusiasm.To these problems, some suggestions and countermeasures were put forward as follows:1. Optimizing the arrangement and the structure of varieties. Cultivating the eating varieties in the south of Qingyang, and developing high sour process type varieties in the north. Adjusting the proportions of early, middle and late matured varieties for 5:20:75.2. Improving the quality of apples by using science and technology. The concrete measure is: (1) Improving irrigation, reducing waste of water, developing the project of rain water collection.(2) Fertilizing reasonable, balancing nutrition, emphasizing the coupling effect of water and fertilizers.(3) Pruning and adjusting light, maintaining pieces 60,000-80,000 per 667m2.(4) Strengthening the management of flowers and fruits, improving the post-treatment capacity and the fruit quality. (5) Preventing and controlling diseases and pests, reducing chemical consumption to produce green fruits.3. Stressing the local characteristics, strengthening the consciousness of brands, improving the organization degree, guiding and setting up various forms of cooperativeassociations of peasants.4. Improving government's function, changing the work style, strengthening the consciousness of service, protecting the healthy development of industrialization.In a word, while fully considering the economic development and people's whole living standard of Qingyang, the development of apple industrialization should pay more attention, technology should be introduced, managerial talents should be trained, and the mode to realize apple industrialization with high benefit should be explored actively.
