As an important process of oil product sales, gas stations are important windows for oil companies to gain profit. S Sales Company of PetroChina is a wholly owned subsidiary of PetroChina Company Limited in S Province, which is responsible for the oil product sales in the S area. Facing the situation of international oil giants have entered the competition in China's refined oil market, a gas station can not meet the needs of enterprise development with a single oil business. In order to enhance their strength in S Province and take a international Energy development path, S Sales Company of PetroChina should provide diversified services in gas stations.In view of the non-oil business of S Sales Company of PetroChina is currently in the early stage of development, this paper brings in the analysis of the relevant marketing theory and tools to take a in-depth analysis of the company's gas station business, having some theoretical and practical significance. On the base of a wide range inspection of literature on business development of oil stations and a practical investigation, the business portfolio of S Sales Company of PetroChina were analyzed: Firstly, I have made a full investigation of the current business development status of the company and summed up the shortcomings in the company's business development.; Secondly, I introduced business portfolio development experience of the foreign gas stations and gas stations in China which is operated by foreign companies and obtained inspiration on the gas station business development for S Sales Company of PetroChina; Then, according to the region, I sort the company's gas stations to three categories and take the classification analysis of market segmentation, target market selection and market positioning, especially the specific customer needs for the various geographical; Besides, I carried out the oil and non-oil types of business that are suitable for all types of gas stations to explore and specific implementation plan. Finally, I also brought out problems we may encounter in the process of business development and proposal to deal with those problems.
