The Research Of Qinhuangdao Seawater Desalination Equipment Manufacturing Development Based On Industrial Cluster

The main purpose of this paper is to approve the necessity and feasibility of the development of Qinhuangdao seawater desalination equipment manufacturing cluster; meanwhile the paper also draws up some development strategies of Qinhuangdao seawater desalination equipment manufacturing cluster. The research approached of this paper is the Theoretical and Empirical research, Comparative research, Qualitative and Quantitative analysis.First, the paper outlines the research background and the research of domestic and foreign industrial cluster theory, introduces the concept of industrial cluster strategy management, and puts forward the methods of strategy formulation. These theories are the basis for Qinhuangdao to formulate seawater desalination equipment manufacturing cluster development strategy.Next, the paper analyses current development situation of domestic and foreign seawater desalination equipment manufacturing. The seawater desalination equipment manufacturing enterprises of foreign have large scale, solid strength and broad market scope. In contrast, the domestic enterprises have small scale, limited capacity and dispersed market. In recent years, our government has issued a lot of supporting policies that promoted the seawater desalination industry's development effectively. In addition, becouse of higher profit margins, more and more enterprises would enter into seawater desalination equipment manufacturing. Qinhuangdao seawater desalination equipment manufacturing cluster is in the initial phase. Through the analysis of diamond model, the paper concludes that Qinhuangdao seawater desalination equipment manufacturing cluster development's opportunities and challenges are coexist, and there are more opportunities than challenges.Third, the paper formulates the qualitative and quantitative objectives, divides development stage and gives the key tasks of each stage for Qinhuangdao seawater desalination equipment manufacturing cluster, according to the strategy management theory of industrial cluster and the characteristics of cluster's initial stage.Finally, in order to achieve the development targets of Qinhuangdao seawater desalination equipment manufacturing industry cluster, the paper suggests Qinhuangdao make good use of state support policy, strengthen the guidance and management of local government, set up sustainable development long-effect mechanism, and strengthen cooperation with the domestic and international seawater desalination equipment manufacturing enterprises and orgnizations.
