Improvement Study Of Packaging Line Base On Six Sigma

With the successful implementation of six sigma in several worldwide famous enterprises, six sigma has been recognized by global management group. Now six sigma is not only a statistic tool which use for improve manufacturing process and decrease product defect ratio; it already evolved as a business strategy to enhance competitive advantage of the enterprise. Six sigma was introduced in China in the late of 1990s, local enterprise try to implement six sigma aim to enhance competitive advantage by improve production efficiency and product quality to overcome the increasingly market challenges.This paper based on DMAIC model combine with six sigma improvement theory use six sigma improvement tools, construct improved manufacturing process, and focus on discussing implementation of six sigma.This paper described the real situation of company A and the application of DMAIC model as well as other six sigma tools to facilitate study of increases packaging line efficiency. After implemented six sigma tools the project finally achieved satisfied result.This paper made up of two parts : the first part introduced basic theory of six sigma improvement tools ,the second part involved real project of company A , detailed the whole process of six sigma implementation in China manufacture enterprise and the successful achievement.
