The Research Of BPR Implementation In Pharma Industry

Due to the reduced profit, more and more pharmaceutical companies begin to implement BPR to improve the competitive advantage. However, BPR implantation with a high risk and till now, there is no mature model for pharma industry, so it is necessary to do the research of BPR implementation in pharma industry.Based on the current BPR theory and in align with the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), this paper gets A pharmaceutical company as the background to research the BPR implementation in the new industry - pharma industry. Through BPR project, A company gets a competitive operation performance such as the shorter production cycle and lower cost.This paper is based on the developed BPR model, beginning with the AS-Is analysis and then propose the improved suggestion combined with the characteristic of pharma industry, build the To-Be process and apply the statistic tools to analyze the result and find the key elements. Finally, propose the continuous improvement which integrates the human re-engineering with the process re-engineering. .
