Study On The Strategic Planning Of Hunan Grain Logistics Park

Grain production, storage, distribution, processing and marketing take important roles in the national economy and social development. China is a large agricultural country, Hunan is the country's major commodity grain production base, but its grain logistics remains at a lower level, with a larger gap between the requirements of modern logistics. Therefore, the Provincial Food Bureau has decided to integrate high-quality resources, take use of Jinxia geographical zone and regional advantages in Changsha, create a modern grain logistics park in Hunan.This paper firstly defined the the concept of grain logistics and grain logistics park, summed up the characteristics of foreign grain logistics from their development situation, as the experience our country should learn from. Then, the article described the strategy of Chinese grain logistics, analyzed market conditions of grain logistics in Hunan Province, proposed the solutions of building Hunan grain logistics system. Among the solutions, this paper focused on the research on construction of Hunan Grain Logistics Park, and planning its strategy. Taking Hunan food industry "Eleventh Five-Year" development goals as the background for park construction, the author set up the strategic goal of Hunan Grain Logistics Park, analyzed the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) of construction Hunan grain logistics park. With the comparison of three modes of food logistics, the author selected the "grain wholesale market + grain logistics center" logistics model. Finally, the paper put forward a program of building Hunan grain logistic park, which mainly contained three parts, that is park space layout, marketing function and operation scope and business model analysis. First of all, in accordance with the layout principles and the impact factors this paper planned park's space layout, established the plan of the park construction and e-commerce information system development, defined market function and business scope, and then analyzed the business model from investment estimate, financing, profitability model, investment income and the social benefit. The conclusion is that the construction of Hunan grain logistic park will not only bring considerable economic benefits but also good social benefits.
