The third one analyzes the change of the income gap of residents in Xinjiang as well as the causes from three aspects --- between urban residents and rural residents, between urban residents, between rural residents. The methods mainly have Gini coefficient, the decomposition of Gini coefficient, Theil index and the decomposition of Theil index. The fourth one analyzes the income gap between the different regions and research the differences between the different income structures by using correspondence analysis. The fifth one analyzes the relation between income gap and economic growth theoretically, and then does empirical analysis by the method of unstable time series taking the Gini coefficient as the evaluating index of the income gap.
