The aviation high-tech enterprises ,as an important component of state-owned enterprises,have the characteristic of large state-owned, national defense, high-tech in nature.our country always take the aviation and aerospace technology as one of the important strategic high-tech to drive the development of national science and technology,and as the key strategic industries to improve country's comprehensive national strength and international competitiveness,promote economic development,safeguard national security.However, in human resources selection and placement,the Aviation enterprises lack a set of scientific standards for human resources evaluation,such as job analysis, performance appraisal,personality test,Senior managers as backbone of the aviation high-tech enterprise,are their competence able to give full play determine the long-term development of enterprises,so through the job characteristic analysis of senior managers,building the competence model of senior managers has very important significance for carrying out the human resource management.By interviews with senior managers,we design the questionnaire,extract job characteristics, competency and performance dimensions of the senior managers in the aviation high-tech enterprises.Dimensions of job characteristics include: the importance of work, the work of innovative,work-social interaction and work cooperative,competency dimensions, including achievement orientation, innovation, strategic thinking, helping others and cooperation, integrity, performance is divided into task performance and relationship performance.after the extraction of these elements,we analysed the relationship among job characteristics,competency dimension and performance with correlation analysis and regression analysis,concluded that senior managers'job characteristics have a significant relationship with competence,and the performance of senior managers is influenced by job characteristics and competence.based on the analysis, this paper finally give some suggestion for the development of senior managers.
