| With the development of China's economy, the bonded area, no matter its quality, function, system or its mode, can not meet the need of international production any more. What's worse? It has, to some extent, blocked the progress of globalization and developing export-oriented economy. Up to now, manufacturing enterprises in bonded areas have kept their traditional ways of operation-levying more weights upon production over logistics, which leads to high costs of logistics. There are plenty of wastes within the logistics of manufacturing enterprises in bonded areas, such as repeated construction of logistics facilities, repeated transportation and insufficient use of infrastructure and so on. Toyota Production System (TPS), guided by JIT, automation and continuous development, is a mature and prominent management system. TPS, as an advanced system of production management, logistics control, inventory management and supply chain management, can be very enlightening for the manufacturing enterprises within bonded areas under the circumstance of transformation. Since the manufacturing enterprises had adopted TPS successfully, they could develop the advantage of TPS into the bonded area and help in breaking the bottleneck of transformation. For the enterprise itself, it can help in achieving efficiency; for the bonded area, it can help in developing international logistics, breaking the bottleneck of complicate clearance course and contributing to the transformation of bonded area.Under the transformation of Tianjin Bonded area into free trade zone, this essay, choosing TPS as study object, will focus on comparing and analyzing TPS in bonded area and free trade zone and then give suggestions on how to develop TPS in manufacturing enterprises within Tianjin bonded area, with the hope of breaking the bottleneck and advancing the transformation of Tianjin bonded area.Firstly, research background, literature review and study direction, content, creative points are presented. Secondly, the theory of TPS is generally described to provide theoretical support for the later study. Thirdly, taking Tianjin FAW Toyota Motor Co. (TFTM) as an example, TPS in TFTM and TPS in free trade zone are compared and analyzed in 4 aspects: production management, logistics control, inventory management and supply chain management. Based on the comparison and analysis ahead, suggestions on modifying TPS within TFTM under the circumstance of transformation are proposed. Fourthly, combining with the previous study, how to develop TPS in manufacturing enterprises within Tianjin bonded area is eventually constructed. |
