| As our country is increasing investment in transport infrastructure, construction projects are expanding not only in number but also in scales. Engineering companies now face new challenges to deal with the potential risks efficiently. When the risk exceeds to a certain level, the project will result in loss of control, such as costs or time extension, even social issues, leading to deteriorated effectiveness even business failure. Transport infrastructure is an industry highly influenced by the economic cycle, and it is highway construction contractors'responsibility to ensure the quality of project, and thus to minimize the potential risks. In this paper, we choose risk management of road construction enterprise as the main topic.This paper analyzes the classification and characteristics of risk, the characteristics of enterprise risk management, followed by the method of risk identification and assessment, and then we evaluate the advantages and shortcomings between these prevalent methods. We choose AHP as a typical method in risk assessment process, and by evaluating the internal and external aspects of the risk factors of Haiwei Engineering Construction Co., LTD. of FHEC of CCCC; we got a gram showing the weight of each risk indicating their probability and harmful levels. According to survey results, we raise some corresponding measures to work against those potential risks. |
