Technology Spillover Effects Of Foreign Direct Investment Analysis In Heilongjiang Province

Technology spillover effect of foreign direct investment (FDI), is a hot topic for the economists . Because of different subjects, technology spillover effect of FDI and impact factors vary widely. In China, the study on domestic technology spillover effect of FDI began late, and the study mainly from the macro aspect focused on the developed provinces and regions. This article focuses on Heilongjiang Province, which is located in the northeastern regions of China. In recent years, FDI has played an essential role in economic development in Heilongjiang Province. It is of great significance to testing the technology spillover effect for the evaluation of effect of attracting FDI and long-term development plan in Heilongjiang Province.This article aims to make a study of theoretical and empirical analysis of technology spillover effect of FDI based on relevant researches and domestic and international research both in system and features. First of all, we generalize factors affecting the technology level in Heilongjiang Province, study the technological gap theory systematically, measure the technological gap in Heilongjiang Province, and determine the premise of the province's technology spillover effect of FDI. Then, we will study factors of spillover effects from the technical point in-depth discussion. Secondly, we will analyse the theory of spillover effects based on total factor productivity and two-sector model. On this basis, through the stability analysis, least squares estimation, since the relevant empirical correction model analysis, we verify the existence of the foreign direct investment in Heilongjiang Province using the relevant time series data. We get the conclusion that there are technology spillover effects, but its domestic enterprises are not directly related to the effects in Heilongjiang Province. Finally, based on theoretical and empirical analysis, we make relevant recommendations respectively in the Heilongjiang provincial government level and enterprise level to increase technology spillover effects of foreign direct investment in Heilongjiang Province, particularly the impact of domestic enterprises.
