Shaanxi Province Manufacturing Foreign Direct Investment In Technology Spillover Effect

In recent years, with the development and opening of ShaanXi Provincial economic, foreign direct investment in ShaanXi growing rapidly. The advanced technology and management experience they have can bring technology spillover efficiency in relative industry of our province, which is help to upgrade the technology and the structure of related industries.This article selected manufacturing as investigate objective which is the biggest invest field of multinational corporation. We analyzed the technology spillover status in various area in manufacturing from the point of technology spillover occurred. Through the analysis of panel database, we find that there existent technology spillovers but not obviously. This phenomenon can be explained by the present situation of foreign investment and the absorption of local enterprises and many other factors in ShannXi manufacturing. Otherwise, we can see technology spillovers mainly occur in few industries and by few way, it's only obviously in pharmaceutical manufacturing, telecommunications and equipment manufacturing, food processing industry, effect by the channel of competitive and correlation. All of these will limited the effect of technological spillover.In order to solve the problems above, we provide some advices for government, enterprise, multinational corporation, which could help to improve the efficiency of foreign investment and promote ShannXi province economic development.
