It's one of the main countries of tea production, exporting and consumption. However, Japan becomes an import country and relies on the international tea market day by day because of some reasons. Japan holds an important position in Chinese'tea export, Japan occupied the second rank in china's tea exporting since 2003, and at the same time China is the largest tea supplier of Japan. The research indicates that as to every type tea, there is a long-term steady relationship between export amount of Chinese tea to exchange rate between China and Japan, the price of Chinese tea, the import amount of Japan, the price of competitive country. The retailed green tea mainly influenced by the exchange rate between China and Japan, the bulk green tea, retailed black tea and bulk black tea all mainly influenced by the quantity of import demanding of Japan. Followed by using cluster analysis and TOPSIS analysis to analyze the international competitiveness of Chinese tea in Japan, the conclusion shows that there is strong competitive power of Chinese tea in Japan, and the green tea ranks enormous market share, the competitive of retail black tea is weak relatively, the bulk black tea is more better. Finally the analysis of the influence of the international competitiveness about the Chinese tea shows that the output efficiency of Chinese tea has increased at the whole with an indefinite fluctuation and mild changing, the increasing extent of the international competitiveness is little. The technological advancement makes small contribution which indicated that the international competitiveness of Chinese tea is not high.
