A Research On Competitiveness And Complementarity Of Sino Japanese Bilateral Trade

China and Japan belong to the world’s top five economies,especially in East Asia,the influence of the two countries is more important,at the same time,the two are closely related trade partners.In recent years,accelerating the process of regional integration of the world economy,China’s rapid economic development,in this context,to the competition and complementarities of Sino Japanese bilateral trade analysis,to To strengthen Sino Japanese trade cooperation,and even the whole East Asia’s economic development has a very important significance.In this paper,the development of the Sino Japanese trade is carefully combed,and the current situation of the development of Sino Japanese trade is analyzed.Then draw lessons from domestic and foreign scholars to study the trade competitiveness and complementarity of empirical methods,according to the United Nations trade statistics,SITC Rev.4 position analysis to trade in goods between countries is divided into ten categories of analysis and calculation of bilateral trade competition and complementarity.The results showed that: Although bilateral trade volume and trade dependence has declined,but can not be ignored the important role of Japan in China’s foreign trade and economic.1 Sino Japanese bilateral trade is still important to the economic development of the two countries.From the bilateral trade structure and trade complementarity and competitiveness of the calculations,both show that China and Japan still need to strengthen bilateral trade cooperation.Overall,China and Japan have strong competitiveness in the world market,but trade competition is mainly reflected in the ASEAN market and the EU market,in the trading partners of the United States-the United States market competition is not fierce.After calculating the competition situation of China and Japan trade sector,China and Japan have different competitive abilities in different types of industries.China’s trade competitive advantage is concentrated in labor-intensive industries,Japan is just the opposite,while Japan is just the opposite,technology and capital intensive industry is its advantage.In view of this,the trade between the two countries can achieve complementary mutual exchange of needed products,there are broad prospects for cooperation.Sino Japanese bilateral trade performance obvious intra industry trade advanced features,namely,the labor intensive products tend to inter industry trade,sophisticated products were more likely intra industry trade.China and Japan’s foreign trade industry structure style is different,each with its own characteristics,trade between the two countries in order to vertical trade".Finally,the countermeasures and suggestions are put forward for the competition and complementarity between China and Japan.
