The Evaluation Of Western Hubei Mountains Region Land Comprehensive Carrying Capacity Based On RS/GIS

Land is the indispensable material basis and carrier of human existence and development. However,with the continuous increase of population as well as acceleration of Industrialization and urbanization, because of irrational use of land resources has led to a series of problems: declining per capita arable land, man-land relationship has become strained; Matching degree of poor soil and water mix, the level of land production potential is inadequate, quality degradation of land resources, reserve resources are limited, and so on. Therefore, comprehensive scientific evaluation of land carrying capacity, quantitative study of regional man-land relationship, for implementing the scientific concept of development, to improve the reality of the region carrying capacity of land resources and the intensive and efficient use of limited land resources, the realization of regional man-land relationship of harmony, reciprocity, it has important theoretical and practical significance.Taking the mountain area in western hubei which have special geographical environment conditions as the research area,under the support of RS/GIS, take all aspects of influence relations of the nature, economy and society-ecological compound system into account, use poor transformation method analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and clustering analysis statistical methods, construct the mountainous land comprehensive carrying capacity evaluation index system, which includes three levels, four subsystems, and twenty evaluation index. In the empirical of fangxian county, evaluation and analysis the comprehensive carrying capacity of land, and on this basis, put forward ways and Suggestions can improve the land comprehensive carrying capacity.This paper is divided into seven parts,mainly summarized as follows:The first part is an introduction,which mainly describes the research background, the significance, the status quo of domestic and foreign research. And then point out the idea and innovation of this study.The second part is the theoretical basis for integrated land carrying capacity. This section summarizes the related theories of integrated land carrying capacity for further research to provide the necessary theoretical support.The third part is application of the RS/GIS technology in the integrated land carrying capacity. This section describes the methods of the RS and GIS and other new technology in the comprehensive capacity of the land, for the evaluation of data acquisition capacity to provide new ideas and methods.The fourth part is the measurement and evaluation for integrated land carrying capacity in Mountain. It introduces how to construct evaluation index system for comprehensive carrying capacity of mountain land, combined with geographical features of mountain areas to determine the evaluation index, and select the mathematical and statistical method to determine the index weight. Lay the foundation for the empirical part..The fifth part is making the evaluation and analysis on the land comprehensive carrying capacity in Fangxian county. This part selecti fangxian county as empirical research, on basis of acquiring related indexes data, use the proposed method comprehensively, find out comprehensive carrying capacity evaluation value of land of every towns in fangxian county, and divide these towns into four capacity partition, map out land comprehensive carrying capacity zoning maps of the fangxian county.The sixth part is the influence factors and improve ways of mountainous land comprehensive carrying capacity. Based on the analysis on the results of the land comprehensive carrying capacity evaluation of fangxian county, identify the factors which is favorable or adverse to the mountainous land comprehensive carrying capacity. On this basis, put forward the ways and suggestions can improve the land comprehensive carrying capacity to the mountain area in western hubei.The seven part of this research paper presents a brief summary and conclusion,and points out the innovation of this study and the direction of further research in future.
